Mark Goldfogel
Mark is a Colorado native and has lived in Telluride since 2002. Prior to starting WonderDog, Mark was Director of Industry Relations with the Fortune 100 company Automatic Data Processing (ADP). This placed him in the role of key liaison to General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Toyota Motor Company and others.
Mark holds a degree in Marketing from the University of Denver. Mark started his technical career in 1983 as one of the original “Whiz Kids” featured on PBS and in a major motion picture of that name. He also did contract programming for companies like Apple, Atari, IBM and Microsoft.
What Mark loves most about his job is helping people use technology to meet their needs. Mark is an Aries and enjoys music, theatre, The Simpsons, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. He is a PADI Dive Master, a KOTO DJ (Cows with Guns, every other Monday 1-3pm), and a LOUD drummer.
Amy Poinsett
Amy joined Wonderdog full-time in 2004 as CCG (Chief Creative Geek). As such, she is responsible for the content and creativity of Wonderdog’s websites, newsletters, and marketing material.
She has worked in technology since mice on treadmills were used to generate electricity and was a technical support manager for a major Seattle software company (no, not THAT major Seattle software company). She’s a graduate of University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in business and graduate studies in information technology. Amy has a wide range of technical, research, and management experience from Seattle to the Cayman Islands, in large corporations and small companies.
Her favorite thing about her job is combining the strengths of her creative and technical brains to produce one product that meets the needs of her customers. In addition to her work with WonderDog, Amy is an artist and a dancer. You can see her artwork on her website, amypoinsett.com, and at the Local Walls gallery in Telluride. And you can see her dancing with the 10,000 Feet Dance Company. Amy’s other interests include hiking, scuba diving (she's also a PADI Dive Master) and humoring her nearly impossible husband. Amy is an avid naturalist and bird watcher, a passion hatched when she lived in Africa as a child. She is a Libra and loves lots of color in every aspect of her life, including her hair!
Small Fry the Wonder Dog !
Born in 2002 somewhere in Utah, Small Fry's first year was challenging. She and the rest of her litter were dumped in a McDonald's parking lot in Kanab, Utah at the tender age of 6 weeks. The litter was picked up by Best Friends, the nation's largest no-kill animal shelter, in December 2002. After nearly a year at Best Friends, Small Fry used her considerable influence in the circles of angels, gods and ferrets to compel Amy and Mark to travel to Utah and adopt her. That happy event occurred in October 2003.
Since finding her family, Small Fry has mainly occupied herself with organizing and directing WonderDog, managing the staff, coordinating walkies, hikies and other activities necessary to the mental health of the WonderDog team, herding her parents up and down the stairs, some customer interaction and the occasional nap.
